Welcome to the Delmar Police Department website. As your Chief, I am honored to lead the Delmar Police Department. We have an outstanding group of officers who are genuinely dedicated to the town and its citizens. We continually seek to explore new opportunities to find better ways to protect and serve those who put their trust in us. We will continue to provide the highest quality police services to our community, focusing our efforts on traffic safety, crime prevention, quality of life preservation, and our community's overall safety and well-being.

Our department currently has 16 allocated certified police officer positions. Officers are sworn and certified in both Maryland and Delaware, one civilian PCO/Officer Manager, and two part-time PCOs.

 

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in our community by maintaining a positive working relationship with our community that inspires trust and confidence in our ability to preserve the peace, reduce crime, the perception of corruption, and protect life and property within the framework of the United States Constitution.
